Welcome to www.donateforneedy.org. Donate For Needy is owned and operated by Sharanya Development Foundation (SDF), a company incorporated under as per Section 8 of the new Companies Act, 2013. Donate For Needy has been set up on the general model of crowd funding to help NGOs and needy individuals to raise donations in kind and the usage is strictly governed by the terms and conditions contained hereinbelow. If you (You) continue to browse and use Donate For Needy for any donations, You are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms of Use), which together with our privacy policy (Privacy Policy) govern SDF’s relationship with You. If You disagree with any part of these Terms of Use, You may not use this Donate For Needy entirely.
Definitions
Beneficiary or Beneficiary’s shall mean and include all NGO, trusts, societies, persons, individuals who run Campaigns on Donate For Needy to raise donations in kind. Campaigns shall mean and refer to various campaigns that run on Donate For Needy for raising adequate support in kind for the Beneficiaries; Platform/Donate For Needy shall mean www.Donate For Needy.com including its applications on mobile and/or tablet, as owned, operated and managed by SDF.
Materials shall mean and refer to the specific material required by different Beneficiaries under their Campaigns and which shall be purchased by Donate For Needy through the funds provided by You. Services shall mean services provided by Donate For Needy to You and the Beneficiary by facilitating connection between Beneficiaries and You so that You can donate in kind to the Beneficiary to meet the necessary objectives of charity . You or Your or Yourself shall mean to the users or viewers of this Donate For Needy.
Scope of Service
Donate For Needy replaces the traditional charity method of monetary donations with product donation, thus building trust and transparency for donors. Donate For Needy is facilitating a connection between Beneficiaries and You, so that You can donate to the Beneficiaries as per their requirement with relevant Materials, which shall be sourced by Donate For Needy. Donate For Needy shall act as a platform to allow the Beneficiaries to put up and share their Campaigns to raise support for the Materials required by them.
You shall be entitled to choose the Campaigns, You wish to support and donate the Materials, by making payment of the Materials to SDF on Donate For Needy. SDF shall purchase the Materials and donate on Your behalf to Beneficiaries.
You understand, hereby acknowledge and agree that SDF or this Donate For Needy does not conduct any detailed and in-depth checks on the veracity and genuineness of the Campaigns put up by the Beneficiaries. Thus, Donate For Needy or SDF make no representation with respect to the genuineness of the Beneficiaries and shall have no liability to any party in relation to the transactions where SDF or this Donate For Needy has not been engaged or contractually involved in.
1. All the Materials donated by you shall be of a reasonable quality; and
2. sourced at prices conveyed on Donate For Needy; and
3. delivered to the Beneficiaries, intimation whereof shall be sent to you
Change in products being delivered after the campaign- At Donate For Needy, We strive hard to deliver the exact products donated by the Donors to the Campaigner. However due to market conditions, We have to make changes in the products being delivered to the campaigner. We make sure that the Campaigner receive the same worth of products that they received earlier as well.
Some of the reasons why there will be change in the products that get delivered-
1. As most of the campaigns run for over a month, Prices get fluctuated and we either have to send more or less than the quantity obtained depending on the price at the time of purchase
2. We work with a lot of vendors across India and as we only process the order once the donation comes, Many times the vendors will go out of stock of few products and we have to replace them with other items after consulting the campaigner
3. Campaigner receive products from other source and they want to use the donated money for other critical products Whatever changes we make in the campaign we make sure that we deliver the same worth of products to the Campaigner.
Payment for Materials
The Services are subject to the limitation to these Terms of Use. The Services are also subject to SDF’s Privacy Policy. SDF may discontinue or revise any or all other aspects of the Services at its sole discretion.
The Services provide features that exist for the ultimate benefit of the Beneficiaries and allow you to meet donate easily online. Considering the larger objective of donations reaching the Beneficiaries, You agree that as soon as You participate in a Campaign and donate Materials, You shall become a Backer for the Campaign and Beneficiaries shall have access to the Details provided by You. In case You do not wish to become a known Backer, You shall be entitled to be an anonymous Backer. Please consider carefully what You choose to share or make public, SDF has no responsibility for that activity.
Beneficiary Information
Beneficiary’s are required to submit and share their details and necessary documents on this Donate For Needy (Details), as may be required by SDF, from time to time, of their trust/society/ NGOs/ institutions/ establishments/companies/organizations for verification purposes. SDF may authenticate these Details as part of its check or otherwise.
However, SDF takes no responsibility of the genuineness or veracity of the Beneficiaries, though in good faith, SDF believes in the Campaigns run by the Beneficiaries and does a preliminary check of the information provided by Beneficiaries. SDF also does not charge any fees/commission/payment from the Beneficiaries.
Content Available
You acknowledge that SDF does not make any representations or warranties about the Campaigns, Beneficiaries, Material, data, and information, such as data files, text, facts and figures, Beneficiary’s details, computer software, code, audio files or other sounds, photographs, videos, or other images (collectively, the Content) which You may have access to on Donate For Needy as part of the Services, or through Your use of this Donate For Needy. Under no circumstances, SDF is liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to any infringing Content, any errors or omissions in Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, transmitted, linked from, or otherwise accessible through or made available via Donate For Needy.
You agree that You are solely responsible for Your reuse of Content made available through Donate For Needy
Content Supplied By You
You represent, warrant, and agree that no Content/Details shared by You with SDF (Your Content), violates or infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights, breaches or conflicts with any obligation, such as a confidentiality obligation, or contains libellous, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful material.
You grant us a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and nonexclusive right to use the Content and Details including but not limited to Trademarks, Service Marks, logos etc. submitted by You for providing the Services, You also grant us the right (i) to display Your Contents and Details on Donate For Needy (ii) promote or distribute it for the access of other Beneficiaries.
Link to Third Party Sites
This Donate For Needy may contain links to other websites owned and operated by Beneficiaries or to any third parties who are not related to (Linked Websites). The Linked Websites are not under the control of SDF and SDF is not responsible for the content of any Linked Websites or any hyperlink contained in a Linked Website and makes no representation or warranty with respect to the content of any such third party sites.
SDF provides these links to You as a convenience only and the inclusion of any link does not imply any endorsement of the Linked Website by SDF. Your link to any such Linked Website is entirely at Your own risk. SDF is not a party to any transaction between You and a Linked Website. Your use of a Linked Website is subject to the terms and conditions of that site.
Donate For Needy may also contain third party advertisements, if any. The display of such advertisements does not in any way imply an endorsement or recommendation of the relevant advertiser, its products or services. You are referred to the relevant advertiser for all information regarding the advertisement and its products and/or services. SDF accepts no responsibility for any interaction between You and the relevant third party and is released from any liability arising out of or in any way connected with such interaction.
Access to Donate For Needy
The Services offered by Website are NOT available to minors under the age of eighteen (18) for any reason whatsoever.
Registration: You agree to (a) only provide accurate and current information about yourself, (b) maintain the security of Your passwords and identification, (c) promptly update the email address listed in connection with Your account to keep it accurate so that we can contact You, and (d) be fully responsible for all uses of Your account. You must not set up an account on behalf of another individual or entity unless You are authorized to do so.
Using of the Services on Donate For Needy does not deem to grant you any right on Donate For Needy and does not make You a permanent member, shareholder or affiliate of SDF for any purposes whatsoever, nor shall You have any of the rights of statutory members of SDF.
Prohibited Content
Violating laws and rights: You shall not (a) use Donate For Needy for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international laws, (b) violate or encourage others to violate any right of or obligation to a third party, including but not limited to, by infringing, misappropriating, or violating intellectual property, confidentiality, or privacy rights.
We are an NGO, a Non-Profit Organization, registered under Section 8 of Companies Act 2013.
We do charity works and development activities for the under privileged.
